Jake Sully: The Sky People have sent us a message... that they can take whatever they want. That no one can stop them. Well, we will send them a message. You ride out as fast as the wind can carry you. You tell the other clans to come. Tell them Toruk Macto calls to them! You fly now, with me! My brothers! Sisters! And we will show the Sky People... that they cannot take whatever they want! And that this... this is our land!

Although there has always been a clear discussion about what is the best James Cameron film and it has never been an outcome that makes everyone happy, I have accepted the hard work of comparing and contrasting and I have come to a good conclusion: each of Cameron's films, since its beginnings, have something characteristic that makes them stand out and hence their success. However, between Titanic, a tragic love story that is affected by the sinking of a ship, Terminator, the struggle between machine and human for not letting cyborgs kill who is the savior of humanity who, for the moment, is still a child (John Connor) and Avatar, definitely the prize is taken by Avatar. Avatar, that became one of the most expensive movies (almost $300 million) of Hollywood simply gave of what to talk about and delivered a phenomenal film. The way of introducing a new language to give it a more realistic view, this language being Na’vi, the manner of inserting an anti-war message and creating practically a whole new world named Pandora makes me want to question if there is going to be a better film in history of cinema.
This story is set in the year 2154 occuring in Pandora a world occupied by Na'vi, beings that are highly evolved. The planet becomes poisonous and now Avatars, who are half humans and half Na’vi, must link to human minds in order to keep living. The movie is centered in the life of Jake Sully, a retired paralyzed Marine, that becomes mobile again and falls in love with a Na’ vi. This love will take him to a war he never imagines for the girl and for the survival of the whole world.
